Pia Wurtzbach has finally addressed the rumors about her engagement to her boyfriend, the founder, and CEO of Beautiful Destinations, Jeremy Jauncey.
Pia and Jeremy have been exclusively dating for months before they confirmed their romance. They made their relationship official to the public eye when they graced the cover of magazine Philippine Tatler's June 2020 issue. The couple celebrated their first anniversary on December 31 in the same year.
In October, Jeremy hinted at something big that made netizens speculate that the hot celebrity couple has been engaged.
While they preferred to be mum about this topic, Pia has finally clarified this via her Instagram Stories.
The beauty queen opened her inbox to entertain questions from her fans and followers, and the first thing she received was an inquiry about her engagement.
Pia replied to this concisely, saying, “It's not true. And I know there's a video on YouTube that says I'm engaged.”
The beauty queen also clarified a few more details about Jeremy.
When asked if her boyfriend is moody, she said, “Okay, that is absolutely not true. In fact, parang ako pa nga 'yung mas ano eh, 'di ko naman masasabing mas moody, ano lang, colorful personality.”
She also addressed a message hinting that she is older than him. She said, “Why would you guys think that? Mukha ba akong? (laughs) He is older than me. He is 36 years old now. Baby pa ako.”
The couple made a trip to Greece to celebrate Jeremy's 36th birthday in September 2020:
In her series of Instagram Stories, Pia revealed that she is the better cook and the bigger foodie in the relationship. She also admitted that she asked Jeremy if they could get a dog but they both realized that they couldn't look after a pet because of their frequent travels and other engagements.
She also shared that her boyfriend loves her Pinoy accent.
She said, “True, I don't have a British accent. In fact, I have a very, very thick Filipino accent that actually Jeremy finds endearing. Buti na lang.”

The beauty queen revealed that the African country will be her temporary home as travel bans have been very stringent between the United Kingdom and the Philippines due to the new variant of COVID-19.
