Yes! magazine takes you to New York City for a peek into the Miss Universe' Big Apple life.

Since Pia Wurtzbach won the title of Miss Universe 2015 last December, she has been residing in an apartment in New York as part of her prize.

People are curious about her Carrie Bradshaw lifestyle in the Big Apple which is why Yes! magazine decided to take their readers on a tour of Pia's apartment for their June 2016 issue.

This June 2016, YES! Magazine takes you to #NewYorkCity for an exclusive shoot and interview with #MissUniverse2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach inside the Miss Universe apartment in Manhattan. @piawurtzbach @missuniverse The 26-year-old Pinay-German stunner, who inspired the world with her never-say-die attitude and steely determination, gives us a tour of her modern apartment, which she shares with her BFF Miss USA Olivia Jordan, and talks candidly about her exciting new life in the Big Apple. “I love the city!” Pia says during the house shoot for YES! “There’s always something to do. I feel like one year won’t be enough, and this is what Lea Salonga actually told me: ‘I don’t think one year is going to be enough for you to experience or explore the whole city, because there really is so much going on and a lot of things happening. There’s so much to do and so much to see.’” Aside from showing us her apartment, Pia also takes us to #CentralPark, #ColumbusCircle, and the Miss Universe Organization offices, where she gives us a peek of the Miss Universe closet and her enviable collection of shoes, dresses, and accessories. Pia also talks about her “friendship” with People Magazine’s Sexiest Doctor Alive, Dr. Mikhail Varshavski, whom Pia calls “Mike.” YES! also had the chance to speak with Pia’s mentors at Aces & Queens, the 16-year-old training camp for aspiring beauty queens where Pia honed her skills in modeling, applying makeup, and public speaking. According to her interview with the publication, Pia claimed that she's in love with the city. She also shared the advice given to her by Pinay Pride Lea Salonga about living in New York.

"There’s always something to do. I feel like one year won’t be enough, and this is what Lea Salonga actually told me: ‘I don’t think one year is going to be enough for you to experience or explore the whole city, because there really is so much going on and a lot of things happening. There’s so much to do and so much to see.’”

The feature also touches on cyberbullying, a vicious act that Pia has been a victim of.

A victim of #cyberbullying herself, @piawurtzbach has this advice for you: “To some extent, you can’t really control what is going to be said or written or posted against you. But you can control how you react to it. That’s why I would tell people that when you’re being threatened or when someone crosses the line, that’s when you start consulting other people, like an authority figure, or your parents, or guardians. It’s how you handle it.” More quotable quotes from #QueenPia are in #YESJune2016 out now in stands.
