Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach broke her silence over allegations that she was unfair in judging Rachel Peters because the latter came from a rival beauty pageant camp.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach broke her silence over allegations that she was unfair in judging Rachel Peters during the coronation night of the Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada, because the latter came from a rival beauty pageant camp.

Rachel was trained under Kagandahang Flores, while Pia was a product of Aces and Queens of Jonas Gaffud.

In a video posted at @pageantbuzzph, Pia reiterated her impartiality in judging the ladies who competed for the Miss Universe crown. She also believes that it's the main reason why the Miss Universe organization chose her as one of the judges for this year's pageant.

Pia explained, “I was fair, I was fair to everyone. Not just to Miss Philippines, but also to other candidates. And I think that’s why they chose me because they knew that I was going to be fair and impartial, when it comes to judging for choosing the next Miss Universe.”
