Pia Wurtzbach is pulling out all the stops at Paris Fashion Week.
On March 1, the former Miss Universe lit up the night during the Yohji Yamamoto fashion show in Paris Fashion Week.
After going for monochrome, edgy, and bold looks, Pia wore a color-changing outfit triggered by camera flashes.
Her outfit for the Yohji Yamamoto fashion show was a custom retro-reflective trench coat on top of a retro-reflective mini-dress. The ensemble looked like it was just another plain mini-dress and coat combination, but once the camera flash hit the garments, it reveals an iridescent farbric.
A netizen was both amazed and curious about Pia's dress and whether the colors were real or edited. The beauty queen revealed in the caption that the fabric glows when hit by a camera flash.
Mark Bumgarner, the designer of the innovative dress, also shared on Instagram a series of snaps of Pia wearing his design, saying it was one of his favorite looks of the former Miss Universe.
He also penned a touching message that said: The woman whose light keeps shining brighter as ever… Continue illuminating the world, the universe rather, with your message of positivity, kindness, and love. You are truly an inspiration to us all.”
Celebrity mom Sarah Lahbati could not help but express her amazement at Mark's design and how Pia carried the ensemble at the Paris Fashion Week. She posted a short message that said: “[I]nsane. [W]ow.”
Meanwhile, the Paris Fashion Week is scheduled to end on the fifth of March.
