Travel and food documentary program, Pinas Sarap, has been awarded the Philippine Tourism Excellence Award for Travel Show at the Department of Tourism's inaugural Philippine Tourism Awards held last September 8 at Okada Manila.

Hosted by award-winning broadcast journalist Kara David, Pinas Sarap takes viewers on a culinary journey across the Philippines, showcasing heritage recipes and emerging food trends.

Besides promoting local delicacies, the popular GTV program also emphasizes sustainable practices in the communities it visits, serving as a platform for different towns, cities, and provinces to share their unique culinary stories with both local and global audiences.

The Pinas Sarap host expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the prestigious award, promising to continue the program's mission.
