
After concluding her journey for the coveted crown, Beatrice Luigi Gomez received warm messages from former Miss Universe Philippines titleholders for her Top 5 finish during the pageant's coronation night in Eilat, Israel on Sunday, December 12 (Monday, December 13 PHT).
“Yakap, mga kababayan. 2018 tayo last nag-top 5. We should be proud of Bea,” Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach said.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray also expressed how proud she is of the 26-year-old Cebuana beauty queen for representing the Philippines. She noted that the competition this year was tough, reinforcing her belief that a Miss Universe must embody holistic beauty.
“Not only were there beautiful faces and great walks but great spokeswomen who had well-rounded campaigns, advocacies, and missions. I'll always believe a Miss Universe should be well-rounded in all aspects. So proud of this batch,” Catriona shared.

Beatrice's Miss Universe Philippines predecessor Rabiya Mateo also lauded her for a good run in the prestigious pageant.
“Maraming salamat, Bea! Proud na proud kaming lahat sa'yo,” she said.
Hours before the competition, Rabiya also posted a photo of them during the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night with the caption: “To Beatrice Luigi Gomez, I just wanna let you know how proud I am of you. I believe na malakas talaga ang laban mo because I saw the fire in your eyes and felt the grit in your heart and spirit. Alam kong lalaban ka at ngayon palang panalo ka na sa mata ng maraming Pilipino.Ilaban mo Bea para sa Pilipinas! Mahal na mahal ka namin. Salamat sa lahat!”
Among the in-person audience of the pageant's coronation night, Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa proudly cheered for the Philippine bet.
She also celebrated the Philippines' comeback in the Miss Universe Top 5, saying, “So proud of BEA! We're back in the top 5! What a finish!”
