Jake rose from anonymity via the British-produced crime drama movie titled “Metro Manila." The said movie is the official entry in the 2013 Academy Awards of the United Kingdom for the Best Foreign Language Film.


Pinoy theater performer Romano “Jake” Macapagal will be seen in the second season of critically acclaimed HBO Asia’s dark fantasy thriller series, “Half Worlds.”

According to an article by Jakarta Globe, the second season of 'Half Worlds' will be directed by Thai director Ekachai Uekrongtham and will be shot in Bangkok. 

Jake rose from anonymity via the British-produced crime drama movie titled “Metro Manila." The said movie is the official entry in the 2013 Academy Awards of the United Kingdom for the Best Foreign Language Film.

'Half World' is a fictional series revolving around the dark and mysterious creatures of Indonesian mythology called “Demits.”

The first season of 'Half World' was directed by Indonesian filmmaker Joko Anwar, which premiered in November 2015.
