Charice worked with Courtney Blooding from 2011 to 2012. 

International singing sensation Charice is mourning the loss of her good friend and former manager Courtney Blooding due to cancer. 

The talented performer paid tribute to Courtney via Twitter last May 25.

Rest in Peace to my friend, Courtney Blooding. Gone too soon. Fuck cancer, man.

Courtney shared on Instagram her journey as she battled cancer. In one of her posts last February 4, she described how fast she lost her hair as she was undergoing treatment.

 

Progression of my hair loss. Top left was Thursday, January 28th. Bottom left was today at 1pm. Right was today at 5pm. My hair loss started on Thursday the 28th. Most of it was gone by the following Monday. It went pretty fast. I'm trying to get used to the feeling of a bare head. This isn't an experience I ever thought I'd have, but I gotta say, I'm pretty thankful for it. I know that might sound strange, but everyone has been so supportive and made me feel so loved that I'm happy for every step of the way. I'm happy for each new experience and aspect of life. And now I get to try it bald for a little while ????????????????

Despite her medical condition, Courtney maintained her positive attitude.

 

And this is what happened when I was on tons of morphine in the hospital a few weeks ago. I have no memory of this, but at least I was still having fun...at least that's what it looks like...
