
Hallyu star Kim Hyun-joong is tying the knot soon!
Korean media reports confirmed the actor-singer announced his upcoming marriage during his concert "Words I Want to Say."
He was quoted saying, "I'm not sure how to say this. I have decided to spend the rest of my life with someone who has stayed by my side through my most difficult and exhausting time.”
A press statement from Kim Hyun-joong's agency Henecia clarified that the actor and his bride will not have a wedding gathering due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Since his future spouse is not a celebrity, we have been cautious in releasing the news, so we ask for people's understanding and also that people refrain from excessive speculation," Henecia said in a press release statement.
“Their precious relationship began during a difficult time and are now taking their cautious first steps towards their shared life together. We ask for everyone's warm support for the couple.”
Kim Hyun-joong is popularly known for his role in the 2009 drama Boys Over Flowers as Yoon Ji-hoo and as Baek Seung-jo for the 2010 drama Playful Kiss.
