“We have received concerns from listeners about remarks made about a person with a disability in a recent episode of Machong Chismisan. We take these concerns seriously. Persons with disabilities and neurodivergent individuals deserve dignity and respect, and that includes how they are talked about on our shows,” sulat ng The Pod Network sa ngayon ay deleted post nito sa Facebook
“We are sorry for the hurt this has caused. Our creators speak in their own voice, and their views do not reflect those of the network. But as the platform that carries their shows, we should still be mindful of what we share with the public,” pagpapatuloy ng The Pod Network.

“We would like to extend our apologies to everyone who was offended in our episode. We would also like to apologize to The PWD Community. We would also like to extend our apologies to those mentioned in the episode, and will reach out through private channels to determine how we can proceed and make amends in a respectful manner,” sabi ni Makoy.
“Moving forward, we will be more diligent in reviewing episodes and calling out immediately, in real time, remarks that could possibly be hurtful to anyone or any group,” sabi ni Makoy.
“As seen in the said podcast recording video, I have called out my co-hosts on the spot, because I did not agree with the statements said. I wish to clarify that I did not intend to make malice in the statements, jokes, laughs, or any part of the conversation that makes fun of person with special needs,” sabi ni Lawrence.
Paglilinaw pa ng podcast host, “Though it may have rubbed off wrong on video, I again would like to reiterate that it is not my intention, and as a sensitive topic, it is not a laughing matter.”
“Again, I would like to state my position that I regret my actions, laughs, and participation in that particular topic, and did not wish any harm on the persons who were mentioned in the video. As a comedian, we draw the line and we should never punch down,” sabi ng komedyante.
“I take full accountability on my part. I apologize for any offenses or harm that it may have caused to offended parties. Moving forward, I promise to do better,” sabi ng komedyante.
