Pokwang and the “2 Valid IDs” cast attended the film's recent Cinemalaya gala screening in Mandaluyong.
Pokwang and her co-actors in the Cinemalaya film 2 Valid IDs came together for its recent gala screening in Mandaluyong.
According to a report by GTV News Balitanghali on Tuesday, August 11, among those who attended the screening were Pokwang's fellow cast members Joey Marquez and Mae Bautista.
The actress, who leads the film, expressed her gratitude after it received positive reviews.
Reacting to the positive reception, Pokwang said she was happy that the project not only resonated with audiences but also tackled realities that many people could relate to.
“I'm happy because aside from being a good project, it's realistic and many people were able to relate to it. Some of us were awakened. I really hope this film can help change the system, especially for our ordinary fellow Filipinos,” Pokwang said.
2 Valid IDs is among the films featured in this year's Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival.
