Kapuso comedienne Pokwang is mourning the death of TV executive Deo Endrinal. He was 60.
On Instagram, Pokwang shares her photo with the late executive, who headed Dreamscape Entertainment, which produces the series Unbreak My Heart.
"Thank you mamita Deo. Kahit nasa GMA na ako di mo ako kinakalimutan tuwing birthday ko, Pasko at Valentine's Day laging may bulamlak ako from you," Pokwang, who had been with ABS-CBN before transferring to GMA in 2021, wrote in the caption.
"Salamat sa tunay [na] pagmamahal bilang boss at kaibigan at ninong ni Malia. Salamat sa mga advice mo at tiwala sa mga proyektong nilaan mo [na] kasama ako."
In the end, Pokwang said she was lucky enough to always tell Deo that she loved him.
"Buti na lang lagi ko itong nasasabi sa 'yo na mahal kita at sobrang nagpapasalamat ako sa friendship na meron tayo," she ended.
"Pahinga ka na mamita di ka mawawala sa aming puso ni Malia."
Deo's son, PJ Endrinal, confirmed his passing in an emotional Instagram post yesterday, February 3.
"Thank you daddy for everything, you have been the best father not just to me but to everyone that has known you. We will always remember how fortunate we are that you were in our lives," he wrote in the caption, which he described as the "hardest" to write.
"This will definitely be a hole in my heart and will leave a scar; but I know that you're finally free from pain and now happily dancing in heaven cause you'll definitely be the life of the party up there."
