Pokwang

Find out how Pokwang deals with the challenges of being a mom, an actress, and life in general.

Kapuso actress and Stars on the Floor Dance Authority Pokwang recently opened up about her motherhood, and her journey of healing after facing challenges in her life.

In the most recent episode of “Pockets of Hope” from GMA Pinoy TV, the international arm of GMA Network, the actress-TV host, Pokwang shared her experiences as a mom, the challenges she has to face, and what pushes her forward.

One of the first things she talked about was her life as mother, most importantly, as a grandmother. Pokwang revealed that she would question herself if she was ready to become a grandmother already, especially since her grandson was born during the pandemic.

Then inisip ko na lang, another belssing,” she shared.

Pokwang also expressed how grateful she is that she's not getting sick despite the challenges the Kapuso actress has faced.

“Pilipina ako, bansa ko 'to, lalaban ako. Dugo ni Gabriela (Silang) 'di ba? Hindi tayo pwedeng paapi, bilang tao, bilang babae, hindi pwede,” she said.

But what exactly fuels Pokwang to move forward? The Kapuso star shared that it was her family, especially her kids.

The Kapuso star also expressed how blessed she feels for having such great kids, family, and friends who are there to support her and are willing to listen to her problems.

Right now, Pokwang shares that she's okay, and that she would dedicate her time now to her kids, and her grandchild. The Kapuso actress prefers to focus on her businesses right now, and to the people who truly love her.
