What started as a craft cookie place for cookie lovers, Scout's Honor had officially opened its doors with its standalone restaurant at the Ayala Malls Vertis North nearly two years ago.
If you don't know already, Scout's Honor is an American-inspired cookie café in the Philippines and is the first craft cookie shop in the archipelago. With its restaurant's successful opening, Scout's Honor revamped its style as a hearty American-inspired comfort food place for the kids and the kids at heart.
To date, they offer artisanal cookies and treats made with premium ingredients and soulful dishes, and hot comfort food good for the whole family.
In an episode of Pop Talk, host Tonipet Gaba, chef Nino Logarta, and actress Klea Pineda share what they love about their food offerings that are available for takeout during the time of the pandemic.

1. Crispy Baked Nachos - ★★★★★

Klea Pineda says, “Ako gustong-gusto ko tong nachos kasi tuwing nagpa-family gathering kami talagang nagna-nachos kami. Kanina pa nga ako kumakain dito and nauubos ko na 'yung kalahati.”
2. Creamy Pesto with Sliced Grilled Chicken - ★★★

Tonipet Gaba says, “Gusto ko 'yung baby tomatoes and dahil sa chicken, bagay na bagay sa pesto.”
Cher Nino Logarta says, “I'm gonna start with the packaging muna. Ito 'yung medyo mumurahin kasi hindi siya laminated sa loob. 'Yung labas laminated pero sa loob hindi kaya tuloy makikita mo na basa at medyo flimsy na siya. Siguro mainit siya nung nilagay kaya in-absorb na niya 'yung moisture. But otherwise, masarap.”
3. 2-piece Buttermilk Fried Chicken Rice Plate - ★★★★

Tonipet Gaba says, “Sa dalawang piraso na ganito kalalaki, I'm hoping consistent siya. Kasi ako okay na ako sa serving na malaki. Magkakatalo na lang sa lasa. Juicy naman siya at meaty.”
Klea Pineda adds, “ Sobrang okay na rin ako sa kanya kasi 'yung quality and quantity okay naman siya, e. Balanced naman 'yung rice and 'yung chicken.”

During this pandemic, Scout's Honor is open for business from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and is available for delivery either through Grab or Lalamove.
As of this writing, they have six operational branches, namely in Ayala Malls Vertis North, Santolan Town Plaza, Robinsons Place Manila, UP Town Center, SM City Fairview, and SM North EDSA.
