
Philippine Concert Queen Pops Fernandez didn't miss the chance to witness the special moment when Lea Salonga received her Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
On Instagram, the OPM star happily shared her firsthand experience at the ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard.
"What an incredibly proud and unforgettable moment to witness the Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony of Lea Salonga! ✨" she wrote.
"To be there and see a Filipina being honored with her very own star on Hollywood Boulevard was truly something special. Lea has broken barriers, opened doors, and shown the world the extraordinary talent that comes from the Philippines. 🇵🇭❤️"
Pops admitted to feeling the Pinoy pride throughout the ceremony as she watched Lea represent the Philippines and receive a warm reception from the crowd.
"I'm so proud to have witnessed this historic milestone — not just as a fellow artist, but as a Filipino who has watched her journey and celebrated her achievements through the years," she continued.
"This star represents so much more than fame. It represents talent, hard work, perseverance, and a dream that reached all the way to Hollywood. 🌟"

As a fangirl, Pops also got the chance to take a photo with the award-winning actress.
"My fangirl moment during @msleasalonga Walk of Fame ..... Congratulations again, Lea😊" she shared.
Besides Lea, Pops shared pictures with Hollywood stars Brandy and Ming-Na Wen. Present at the event as well were Dolly de Leon and It's Showtime host Karylle.
