
The ab roller is a great workout equipment for those who want toned abs. Although it can be quite challenging, the rewards are undeniably satisfying.

In his recent Mars Pa More guest appearance, Descendants of the Sun PH hunk Prince Clemente shared his ab roller workout routine.
An ab roller or ab wheel is an exercise equipment that is used to target one's abdominal core--abs, lower back muscles, obliques and even the glutes. It's a small wheel that has two handles on both sides.
This is one of the tools Prince uses when working out. And we can definitely say that his workout routine really works, judging from his photos in this photo gallery:
So, if you're up for the challenge, here's a breakdown of Prince's ab roller workout:
1. All the way out
This is done with your knees on the floor, hands on the ab roller handles in front of you and with your tailbone tucked. Roll the ab roller all the way forward until you're almost lying on the floor and roll it all the way back to your original position. Do 10 repetitions.
2. Halfway out
As the name suggests, you're basically going to do the same "all the way out" exercise, but the only difference is you're going to move the ab roller halfway.
3. Halfway in
For the third exercise, your starting position should be with your ab roller rolled all the way in front of you, so you're almost lying on the floor face-down. Then, you'll move the ab roller inward, but only halfway.
4. Take it or leave it
For the fourth exercise, you have to be in supine lying position with your knees bent. Place the ab roller between your shins. Do crunches while taking the ab roller and carrying it all the way above your head, then leaving it again between your shins on the next go. So, it's basically doing crunches while alternating between “taking it” and “leaving it.”
