Reportedly, Prince William contracted the virus at a similar time as his father Charles, Prince of Wales.

According to UK tabloid newspaper The Sun, Prince William was treated by palace doctors, and that he “struggled to breathe” at one point.

Kensington Palace, the office and home of Prince William, have yet to comment on the matter officially.

Prince William is the second in line to the British throne.
