Priscilla Meirelles

Priscilla Meirelles is poised to become a better version of herself following the recent challenges she faced

Beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles became the center of attention recently due to issues in her marriage to John Estrada, which led to their announcement of officially separating as a couple.

As rumors of their breakup surfaced, Priscilla returned to Brazil to escape the pressures and gossip surrounding her. But she continues to clarify details on her side, especially John's claim "mutually agreed to take a break."

In an interview on Luis Manzano's channel, she shared how the recent challenges have transformed her for the better. "I've come to many realizations in life," she said. "Maraming realizations that iba ang gusto ko mangyari sa buhay ko ngayon. Marami ako natutunan at saka marami rin akong na-realize."

When asked to list her realizations, Priscilla highlighted that "family is everything" as her top lesson. She learned this during the pandemic and felt the support of her family during her struggles in her marriage. Additionally, she discovered the importance of deepening her faith in God and practicing self-love.

Reflecting on her past, Priscilla was asked what she would change if given the chance. With honesty, she expressed a desire to have waited before marrying.

"If there's one thing I would change but I do not regret, I wouldn't have gotten married so early in my age because getting married, it stopped me for doing things, so much things. When you become a wife and a mother, of course, limited ka. 'Yung focus mo now it's your family (and) kids," she answered.

While she cherishes her family and child, she acknowledged that marriage deprived her of pursuing many of her dreams. "I do not regret, I have a wonderful family and a wonderful kid but the thing is like I deprive myself of a lot of dreams that I had so I just pray that at this time around I can somehow resume them or at least you know somehow be able to achieve some of them," she added.

Looking ahead, Priscilla feels positive about her future as she's also planning on returning to showbusiness in early 2025. "I'm very good. What I had to say, I said it. It's done and over with. The only things I have to share right now it's really just good news and of course how I said I'm focused on myself, I'm focused on my family, I make sure that I'm productive, I make sure that I'm healthy and I make sure that I love myself first and foremost of course after God," she said.

Regarding love, Priscilla sweetly affirmed her belief in second chances and her faith in God's plans for her.
