Follow the story of Bren Park (Migo Adecer) in 'Barangay 143' on Netflix soon!

First Filipino anime series Barangay 143 will start streaming on October 1.

Initially shown on GMA-7 in 2018, Barangay 143, is a co-production of Synergy88 Entertainment Media Inc. (Philippines), August Media Holdings (Singapore), and TV Asahi (Japan).

Barangay 143 is coming to Netflix soon

It follows the story of Bren Park (voiced by Migo Adecer), a young and rising basketball star in Korea who turns his back to everything that is important to him after a major event changes his life forever.

The search for answers leads Bren to Manila and lives with his former nanny Tita Baby (voiced by Lorna Tolentino) in the gritty neighborhood of Barangay 143.

Joining the stellar cast of voice actors of Barangay 143 were Asia's Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose, Ruru Madrid and Kelley Day.

It also featured the voices of veteran actors including John Arcilla, Edu Manzano, and Cherie Gil.
