Pageant fans can already plan their trips for the coming year as the 2026 Miss Universe pageant has announced that its coronation night will be held in the country of Puerto Rico.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss Universe organization uploaded a Reel showing its president, Raúl Rocha Cantú, announcing Puerto Rico as the host of the 2026 Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in November next year. In the caption to the post, the organization promised an “entire year of celebrations, culture, music, and joy on the Island of Enchantment”.
As of this writing, the post has garnered more than 70,000 likes and has amassed more than 2,000 comments.
The 75th Miss Universe pageant will crown whoever wins this year's Miss Universe. The coronation night for the 2025 Miss Universe will be held at the Impact Challenger Hall in Nonthaburi, Thailand, and will crown the successor of current reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig.
Aiming to win the country's fifth Miss Universe crown is Ahtisa Manalo, who was crowned back in May.
Ahtisa won, thanks to her response to the question “they say that a good leader leads by example, tell us about one event in your life when you lend by example and the impact it made.”
Ahtisa's response was: “I fell a while ago at stage and the thing with me is whenever I fall in life, I always make sure I come back stronger. Last year, I was here on this stage and for the second time this year, I'm here putting everything on this stage to be Miss Universe Philippines, because this is mine and my grandmother's shared dream and she passed away early this year.”
