Rabiya Mateo on current status of her relationship with Neil Salvacion: "We're friends."
Nilinaw ni Miss Universe 2020 Rabiya Mateo ang status ng relasyon nila ng kanyang longtime boyfriend na si Neil Salvacion.
Matatandaan na noong nakaraang linggo naging usap-usapan ang paghihiwalay umano nina Rabiya at Neil matapos mapansin ng netizens na binura na ng huli ang mga larawan niya kasama ang beauty queen mula sa Iloilo.
Sa panayam ng TV host na si Boy Abunda, na lumabas kanyang YouTube channel nitong Linggo, May 30, inamin ni Rabiya na "complicated" ang relasyon nila ng kanyang non-showbiz boyfriend.
Aniya, "It's a complicated situation and we need to talk about things when I go back to the Philippines.
“But we're friends, we're friends. I still try to contact him but we need to have this space together as of the moment.”
Gayunman, sabi ni Rabiya, "But I'm not closing any doors. We've been in this kind of situation before.
“We've been together for seven years and who knows po, who knows.”
Sa parehong panayam, muli ring ipinaliwanag ni Rabiya ang larawan niya kasama ang modelong si Andre Brouillette, na naging dahilan ng pagkakaugnay nilang dalawa.
Sabi ni Rabiya, "Tito Boy, nahihiya ako kay Andre. It's because yung photos na kumalat, that was the third time that I was able to talk to him.
“The first one was before my send-off to Miss Universe. The second was during the competition.
"And that was the third time, na sinundo lang nila ako sa airport. And he's a nice guy.”
Noong nakaraang linggo rin ay ni-repost ni Rabiya ang viral photo nila ni Andre at nilagyan ito ng mga hashtags na "#friends #workmates #nomalice."
Si Andre ay isa sa mga talent ng Mercator Talent Agency. Ito ay pinamumunuan ni Jonas Gaffud, na kasalukuyan ding creative director ng Miss Universe Philippines Organization.
