Lea to Rachelle Ann: "Grabe ka"

Internationally acclaimed theater performer Lea Salonga was impressed with the Les Misérables run in Manila.

The Filipina singer-actress also expressed her pride for fellow Filipina Rachelle Ann Go who plays Fantine.

The young performer was thrilled with the veteran’s remark.

Before this stint, Rachelle Ann was Gigi in Miss Saigon, and Fantine in Les Misérables, both in West End. Lea, meanwhile, earlier in her career, portrayed Miss Saigon’s Kim in West End, and played Eponine and Fantine, respectively, on Broadway and during the 10th and 25th anniversary concerts in West End.
