Ultimate Campus Cuties Rayu Gravador and Frances Lacap joyfully expressed their overwhelming gratitude for the support they received after their victory last Sunday, August 9, at the Sparkle Campus Cuties Season 2 finale.

Known as “The Cutie Lover Boy of Bulacan,” Rayu shared how much his supporters' encouragement meant to him, noting that their steady belief in his potential gave him the confidence to shine on stage.

“Gusto ko po magpasalamat sa mga taong sumuporta sa akin kasi hindi ko po ito kakayanin, 'di ko po mabi-build up 'yung confidence ko,” said Rayu in an exclusive interview with "Chika Minute" on 24 Oras.

For Frances, “The Go-getter Influencer of New Manila,” she was touched by all the love from her followers, describing her big win as a total dream come true on her journey to becoming an actress.

“I feel so loved right now and so excited. Sobrang excited ko po na mag-work, it's one of my biggest dreams po talaga to become an artist, and seeing my first step on being one, it's just grabe po! I don't even know how to describe the feeling,” Frances expressed.

Meanwhile, GMA Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes expressed high praise for this season's Sparkle Campus Cuties.

“Grabe 'yung batch na 'to talagang nakita natin na nag-level up silang lahat. Ang hirap talagang pumili. I think all of them really deserve to win, pero ito nga, we're getting the Top 6 for Sparkle,” Atty. Annette shared.

She continued, “Baka 'di lang 'yung Top 6 let's see kasi lahat sila talented, they all have the looks, they all have the personality. I am very happy that they are all so wholesome, parang talagang role models sila."

As they kick off their official journey as Sparkle artists, the two Ultimate Campus Cuties expressed their excitement to collaborate with their favorite Kapuso stars in upcoming projects.

“Nasa wishlist ko po ay si Alden Richards, si Dingdong Dantes, si Marian Rivera; kasi, ang galing nila sa craft nila,” Rayu shared.

“It was always a dream po to work with Heart Evangelista. Obviously, I love her craft as well, I love how she presents herself. Beyond that po, I really wanna work with either Anthony Constantino or Charlie Fleming po,” said Frances.

Before the final announcement, Rayu took home the “TikTok Live Viewers Choice Award,” while he and Frances both secured “1st place as Social Media Favorites.”

When the main results were revealed, Ysa Prats and Enzo Torrano finished as 2nd runners-up, followed by Ronnie Pasamba and Abi Arnold as 1st runners-up. Rayu Gravador and Frances Lacap ultimately claimed the top spot, earning the grand title of Campus Cutie Season 2.

While all Top 6 finalists were signed to Sparkle management, grand winners Rayu and Frances bagged coveted five-year contracts with Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
