Are you ready Swifties? The second set of re-recorded songs by Taylor Swift is in the works.

Taylor Swift announced on social media that she will be releasing her re-recorded tracks in her 2012 album Red in November of this year.

The American singer-songwriter shared that the new Red album consists of 30 songs, including original tracks that were supposed to be included in the original album.

She also added that one of the songs is 10 minutes long and is set to be released on November 19.

In her Instagram post, she wrote: “Musically and lyrically, Red resembled a heartbroken person.”

She also said: “It was all over the place, a fractured mosaic of feelings that somehow all fit together in the end. Happy, free, confused, lonely, devastated, euphoric, wild, and tortured by memories past.”

“Like trying on new pieces of a new life, I went into the studio and experimented with different sounds and collaborators. And I'm not sure if it was pouring my thoughts into this album, hearing thousands of your voices sing the lyrics back to me in passionate solidarity, or if it was simply but time, but something was healed along the way,” she added.

Her announcement post gained more than 3.4 million likes on Instagram.

This much-awaited announcement just happened two months after Taylor Swift released the newly recorded tracks of her 2008 album Fearless and renamed it Fearless (Taylor's Version).

The new Red album will be Taylor Swift's second set of re-recorded songs, which will surely give fans a trip down memory lane.

The first set of re-recorded songs

In her first newly-revamped album, Fearless (Taylor's Version), which consisted of 27 tracks, includes six songs from the vault like “Mr. Perfectly Fine,” “You All Over Me,” “We Were Happy,” “That's When,” “Don't You,” and “Bye Bye Baby”.

She also shared the official lyric videos of her re-recorded classic hits such as “Love Story” (2009), “Fifteen” (2009), “You Belong With Me” (2009), and “Fearless” (2010) on YouTube.

The new release of these popular tracks, indeed, gave fans and netizens some nostalgic feelings.

Apart from this, Taylor Swift also released two new albums during the quarantine titled Folklore, which has a total of 16 tracks, and Evermore with 15 songs.

The American pop star continues to re-record all of her tracks despite her existing legal battle regarding its proper ownership.
