Aicelle Santos is set to reprise her role as Elsa in the re-staging of Himala: Isang Musikal right after doing Rak of Aegis.
The singer admits that jumping from one musical to another proved to be quite a challenge for her, even if she has portrayed Elsa when the musical debuted in 2018.
"Coming from Rak of Aegis, nahirapan ako, number one kasi doon, biritan [at] gasgasan ng boses. Dito, palinisan naman ng boses.
"Number two, sa character, mabigat talaga. I trust the process, I trust our great director [Ed Lacson Jr.] here," Aicelle shared during the press conference of "Himala: Isang Musikal" held on Tuesday, August 27, at Privato Hotel, Quezon City for the press conference of the acclaimed musical's 2019 restaging.
Despite these challenges, Aicelle feels honored to be able to portray Elsa once more.
"She is something else,” she said.
"Dreamer siya pero gagawin niya 'yung lahat maabot lang 'yung pangarap na 'yon at the expense of hindi natin alam.
"Very intricate 'nung character niya, hindi siya linear and as an actor, napakagandang ma-experience ulit ng character ni Elsa."
Ricky Lee and Vicente de Jesus's Himala: Isang Musikal will open on September 20 and will have a limited engagement until October 20 at the Powermac Center Spotlight in Circuit Makati.
