Many were surprised when it was finally announced yesterday, April 17 that Jasmine Curtis Smith is officially part of the Kapuso network since her older sister, Anne Curtis, is part of rival channel ABS-CBN.

But it seems Jasmine’s whole family is 101% on board with her decision to join the talented roster of GMA-7. During her interview at the contract signing, the young actress revealed the main reason why she ultimately chose the Kapuso Network over the Kapamilya Network.
She explained, “Kasi, siyempre ganun ‘yun din ‘yung papasukin ko pagpasok ko dito, so nag-scout ako from siyempre from both networks pa rin naman and it just so happens my heart really is leaning towards GMA.”
Anne and their mom Mrs. Carmencita took to their social media accounts to show their support for Jasmine’s big decision.
