Sa kaniyang Instagram post, ibinahagi ni Ardy na ilang beses nilang sinubukan ng kaniyang asawa na magkaroon ng baby mula noong ikasal sila noong March 2014.

“Yes, we're pregnant :-) Not just pregnant with hope. But pregnant for real. And naturally conceived.

He recalled, “So we've been trying to be pregnant since we get married four years ago. Miriam and I had tried IVF two years ago, but it didn't work for us. In her heart, she was still praying for a natural pregnancy. Holding on to God's promise to her years ago when she was single and contemplating to freeze her eggs on the eve of her 36th birthday.”

Isa din daw sa kinunsidera nila kung sakaling hindi siya magkapagbubuntis ang adoption.

Paliwanag niya, “But now as she approached 43 last May, we decided that we'd try IVF or adoption again if she wasn't pregnant by her birthday.”

Pero dininig ng Diyos ang kanilang dasal matapos ipagdiwang ni Miriam ang kaniyang 43rd birthday nito lamang Mayo.

“Her birthday passed by and so that perfect beautiful morning when Miriam was about to proceed with the IVF prep meds, I asked her to take a pregnancy test, just in case.”

“She came out of the toilet giggling and beaming. There were two lines. We both giggled like little kids and hopped around, thanking Jesus for this miracle.”

“I woke up Joshua and told him he was going to be a kuya. And now @miriamq888 is 9 weeks pregnant.”

Looking forward naman si Ardy Roberto sa pagdating ng kanilang pinakamamahal na supling ilang buwan mula ngayon.

“I'm also pregnant. Pregnant with hope for the future, pregnant with gratefulness to God, and pregnant with love for the baby that's growing in my beautiful wife's tummy.

We hadn't planned to make this public yet but at an interview at the media launch last friday of the Home School Global conference, Miriam mentioned that she was pregnant. The next morning it was online on ABS CBN. So we decided to announce it on her IG this morning. By mid day the good news was on GMA as well. Thanks for all your messages of encouragement and love. Thanks to all 99 of you who prayed specifically for this to happen. Thanks to those who even inspired me to ask for the moon! God heard our prayers! Keep the faith and keep on hoping and praying.
