Aside from being long-time friends, Camille and Iya also bond over the fact that they're both raising young boys.

It didn't take much for Camille Prats and Iya Villania to have instant chemistry on camera as hosts for GMA's upcoming talk show titled Mars Pa More. Aside from being long-time friends, Camille and Iya also bond over the fact that they're both raising young boys.

During the media conference of Mars Pa More, members of the press asked Camille and Iya how they bond with their eldest sons, Nathan and Primo, respectively.

For Camille, "Kay Nathan pa lang ako pinakamadaming naging experience when it comes to bonding dahil with Nala, I got pregnant right away after mag-turn niya a little over one. Siguro kay Nathan, mas outdoors kasi lalaki.

"Raising a boy, kailangan very active din 'yung mga activities na pinapagawa mo sa kanila kasi gusto nating maging malakas sila. We don't want them growing up na parang lampa, ako personally gusto ko talaga medyo matibay 'yung pangangatawan, hindi 'yung konting masugatan, iiyak.

"I really encouraged him to enter sports so nag-so-soccer siya as early as four years old, until now."

Camille also stressed on the importance for kids, especially for boys, to have an outlet for their energy.

"Sa dami ng energy nila, you want na may outlet din sila noon. Otherwise, na-notice ko na kapag wala siyang ginagawa, nagiging frustrated siya, nagiging emotional siya. Ang bilis niyang mainis.

"Anong nangyayari? Siguro wala ngang outlet so para din also hindi siya mag-gadgets all day. You're only allowed to use your PS4 for two hours a day but the rest of the day, anong gagawin niya? So I gave him books to read or activities to do," she added.

According to Iya, Primo loves anything that has to do with the kitchen and the outdoors. "Being in the kitchen with Primo, nagluluto kami, baking. Actually, anything kitchen-related, gusto talaga ng anak ko. And just being outdoors, anuman pa 'yan, walking the streets, drawing [with] rocks, or running around chasing stray cats. 'Yan 'yung mga bonding moments namin. [Kapag] Namamalengke, pinapahuli niya 'yung mga isda sa isang balde. Ginawa niyang zoo ang market, ginawa niyang aquarium!"

The two moms were also asked about how they discipline their kids.

Iya shared that she lets Primo explore and make a mess but she's strict when it comes to manners and respect.

"I think I'm pretty lenient with Primo, I feel that I like to let him explore.

"It really depends kasi kung saan nanggagaling 'yung mommy eh. Kasi 'yung isang mommy, magiging strict kasi natatakot masaktan 'yung anak but then there are other moms that are strict in another sense.

"Kunwari ako, strict ako kay Primo kapag lumalakas 'yung boses niya, [sa] manners, more on behavior. Doon ako strikto, when it comes to being respectful to other people. But in terms of exploring and making a mess, I'm pretty lenient with him."

Camille also echoes Iya's way noting that she doesn't want her son to grow up disrespectful to others.

"Ako kay Nathan, ganoon din. -- I remember I was also just very strict with him when it comes to nakakaabala na siya sa ibang tao. Iyon lang naman 'yung bilang magulang na ayaw natin. Isinasama mo na nga 'yung anak mo tapos nag-ko-cause pa siya ng hassle doon sa workplace mo.

"So I just make sure na you greet everyone, say hi to everyone, wala kang sinisirang gamit, hindi ka ganoon kalikot. I think I'm strict that way."
