Carla poured her heart out on IG saying that she fought so many battles last year and she is beyond grateful that she survived all of it.

“Goodbye to a year that broke me psychologically, emotionally and physically. To say that it was tough is an understatement. I fought so many quiet battles. And yet here i am, with God's grace, still standing and choosing to remain grateful and faithful. Here's to hoping and praying for a stronger and better year ahead. 💛”

The Love of My Life actress also detailed what she went through in 2019, including her health condition and sudden weight gain.

Carla said that she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which caused her weight gain and tachycardia or rapid heart rate.

According to endocrineweb.com, "Hypothyroidism is a common condition characterized by too little thyroid hormone... If you have hypothyroidism as an adult, you may experience sensitivity to cold, little appetite, and overall sluggishness.

"Hypothyroidism often goes unnoticed, sometimes for years, before being diagnosed."

Meanwhile, webmd.com described tachycardia as "a condition that makes your heart beat more than 100 times per minute."

Carla also said that she is dealing with asthma and liver damage, too.

We hope for your speedy recovery, Carla Abellana!
