Lifestyle and fashion blogger Dani Barretto is heartbroken after she found out that her friend Ryan Leonardo Santiago died last Sunday, August 13.

Ryan is the son of actor/director Randy Santiago and Marilou Coronel.

Dani, in her Instagram post on August 2015, prayed for the fast recovery of Ryan who was in the neuro intensive care after contracting a ‘fungal’ virus.

 

Please pray for my bestfriend, Ryan Santiago. He's been in Neuro intensive care, due to a 'fungal' virus for a week now. Please help us pray for his fast recovery and complete healing. #HealRyanSantiago #RyseAndShineRyan

The daughter of Marjorie Barretto shared on Instagram today, August 14, a heartwarming tribute to Ryan.

She wrote, “What I would give just to see your beautiful smile and feel your warm embrace again. Rest in Peace, Ry... Words cannot express the pain I am feeling right now, but what comforts me is that I know you're in a better place now and you're not hurting anymore.  I love you with all my heart.”
