Miss Universe 1993 and Puerto Rican celebrity Dayanara Torres shared some good news about her illness.

Just last month, Dayanara revealed that she was diagnosed with skin cancer.

In a new Instagram post, Dayanara updated her followers about her first radiation treatment.

"I'm so happy to give you some good news," she said in an Instagram post.

"Last week's tests show that my cancer is not spreading and is not reaching any of my organs.

"Tomorrow, Friday I start my first radiation treatment.

"I might get a bit weak and some muscular pains but I'm asking you. Keep Praying, keep having me in you prayers.

“I am forever grateful to all of you and the mountains you all are being able to move for me."
