The Internet is a buzz with the news that the House of Representatives approved a P1,000 budget for the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) next year. Several celebrities reacted to the news, which has now become a trending topic on social media.

The Internet is a buzz with the news that the House of Representatives approved a P1,000 budget for the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) next year.

House votes to give P1,000 budget to CHR

Last Tuesday (September 12), 119 congressmen voted for the meager budget for CHR, while 32 voted against it.

Several celebrities reacted to the news, which has now become a trending topic on social media.

Councilor Vico Sotto, son of Bossing Vic Sotto made a pledge on Twitter that he will give a portion of his salary for CHR, in case this becomes a reality in 2018.

 

 

Meanwhile, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes lauded the 32 congressmen who voted against the P1,000 budget.

 

 

 

Kapamilya talent Agot Isidro also lashed out on Twitter to those representatives who approved the measure.
