Netizen with Instagram handler @sssarah_77 posted several harsh comments about the new Victoria's Secret model.

Elise was appalled by what she read and slammed the basher for spreading negativity online.

“OMG. Who are you? And why are you being so mean? Hiding behind your fake account. She's actually drop-dead gorgeous,” wrote Elise.

She added that this should be a proud moment for all Filipinos as Kelsey will be representing the country in the coveted Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

“Beyond proud that a Filipina is going to be walking the VS fashion show! It's about time! I always hated that our culture is so underrepresented.”

Elise shot to stardom in Canada by winning a radio station contest in 2007. Some of her hit songs include "Insatiable" and "You Don't Need to Know."
