Pinuri ng mga GMA Network bosses ang Kapuso comedy genius na si Michael V para sa lahat ng kontribusyon nito sa network sa loob ng mahigit dalawang dekada.
Nitong Miyerkules ng hapon, March 15, muling nag-renew ng kontrata sa GMA-7 ang multi-awarded comedian.
Sa panayam ni Felipe S. Yalong na tumatayong EVP at CFO ng GMA Network, hindi raw matatawaran ang pagmamahal ni Bitoy sa Kapuso channel.
Aniya, “Bitoy is also our pillar as far as entertainment is concern. Siguro nga in terms of years of service, si Bitoy has been with us. No doubt about it na he loves GMA so much.”
Para naman kay GMA President at COO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr. natatangi si Michael V sa entertainment industry at masaya silang nasa management na patuloy rin ang pagtitiwala niya sa GMA-7.
“Isa ako sa tagahanga ni Bitoy. Kung sasabihin natin nabibilang natin sa isang daliri ng isang kamay ang katulad niya, katumbas niya eh alam na natin lahat ‘yun. He is just so unique, so great and admirable as a co-worker [that] aside from making us all very very proud, we are extremely happy na naririyan siya na patuloy ang kaniyang tiwala. At ganun naman tayo ay patuloy na maghahanap ng paraan para ipakita sa kaniya ‘yung kasiyahan natin at appreciation natin.”
Ayon naman kay GMA SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable na walang katumbas ang contributions ni Bitoy at very generous siya sa pag-iisip ng mga concepts ng mga bagong shows.
Matatandaan na original concept ni Michael V ang Tsuperhero na pinagbibidahan nina Derrick Monasterio at Bea Binene.
Paliwanag ni Ms. Rasonable, “Bukod sa pagiging talagang loyal niya going on 22 years, very generous as you said hindi lang ‘yung magsho-show siya and that’s it. He is actively in the creative developments of the shows that he is in. And then he’s generous with his ideas for other shows ayun talagang napakahalaga ang kaniyang contributions sa entertainment sa GMA.”
Mayroon na rin daw bagong hinahandang project para kay Michael V na dapat abangan ng mga loyal Kapuso veiwers.
“He has another show. It’s a contest but later on we will announce it, kasi he’s still busy with two shows but that’s coming.”
