The partner of tycoon Tonyboy Cojuangco recently made headlines when she and her friends were caught in a video laughing while reading a letter request from a fan asking for help.

Gretchen and her group has since apologized publicly for what had happened. In a statement via an Instagram video, she said: “Joanne Mula, I apologize, we apologize. Right after po, we’re all laughing that night. This is between Patty Pineda, Mimi Que, myself, and JMula. Si JMula po ang nagpadala ng request o ang kanyang mga wishes. It was very rude, I admit. It was very inappropriate, [and] unlady-like for us to behave that way.”

Meanwhile on social media, bashers keep on attacking Gretchen for the viral video. Instead of keeping quiet, the actress fought back by shaming her detractors online.

Fans of Gretchen also expressed their support for her and advised the actress to remain positive.
