James Teng admits that fleshing out his character in 'One of the Baes' has been challenging for him.
Former StarStruck finalist James Teng is all set to appear in upcoming GMA Telebabad drama, One of the Baes.
James said that his character is one of the lead characters' best friends, "'Yung character ko is si Amador or Amai, isa siya sa tatlong baes na kaibigan ni Jowalyn (Rita Daniela). Makakasama ko rin sa scenes sina Kuya Archie Alemania at Kenneth Medrano."
He admitted that doing comedy has been a challenge for him.
“Biggest challenge so far is first time kong nag-comedy tapos challenging din kasi 'yung training, nasa arawan kami kung makikita niyo lang 'yung sunburn, talagang babad kami sa araw kasi from 6 a.m. hanggang tanghali nasa field kami, nagti-training, kinukuhanan lahat ng scenes na kailangan ng araw.”
Amador or Amai is the dutiful best guy friend to Jowalyn, who gets bullied in school by her upperclassmen.
“Kami 'yung magiging kasangga ni Jowalyn sa pagma-maritime niya, kumbaga kasi as babae minsan mahihirapan siya sa mga struggles sa pagpasok niya sa school na 'yun. Marami rin ma-iinsecure sa kaniya, pero nandito lang kaming mga baes para tulungan siya.”
