Kapuso celebrity couple Joyce Pring and Juancho Trivino made waves online when they announced their engagement this year.

After a month of their announcement, Joyce revealed the reason what made her say yes to Juancho.

"One of the reasons I agreed to marrying this guy was because of his natural inclination to put the people he loves before himself," Joyce wrote on Instagram.

"He goes to the cinema, or goes to art shows, and drives me to work, or eats tofu "meat," not necessarily because he's interested in my interests, but because he loves me so much.

"He's constantly teaching himself to value, enjoy, honor, or be a part of the things that are important to me."

My love always takes me on random dates. Sometimes his being a lolo shows through because all he wants to do is go buy tickets to the movie house and fall asleep in the cinema. There was this one time when we watched Aladdin with my family and the only part he was awake for was 'A Whole New World' kasi ginising ko sya cos I know he loves that song. 😅 We are two very simple people, we're also such pleasers that when we ask each other, “ano trip natin” ang sagot namin pareho “ikaw?” “Kahit ano” “sige ok basta di magastos” 🤪 A couple of weeks back though he made such an effort to bring me to Van Gogh alive because one of the first things I told him about myself is that I like art, and painters, and I've collected a bit of art prints from my travel, including Van Gogh's Seascape. We had such a beautiful day, that Sunday, we went to the 9am Van Gogh Alive, church at 11am, and had a really heavy, delicious lunch. One of the reasons I agreed to marrying this guy was because of his natural inclination to put the people he loves before himself. He goes to the cinema, or goes to art shows, and drives me to work, or eats tofu “meat”, not necessarily because he's interested in MY interests, but because he loves me so much, that he's constantly teaching himself to value, enjoy, honor, or be a part of the things that are important to me.
