I wanna be around film makers and productive people to make art.

"I love indie films, I love the script, I love the material. If gusto ko 'yung script, I just go for it," Kiko Estrada said in an interview with GMANetwork.com where he talked about his reaction after his indie film "Diyos-Diyosan" was shown.

According to Kiko, "[In] "Diyos-Diyosan" I had to play a 40-year-old there, tapos nasa kulungan ako. It went out in SM Cinemas [and it was] directed by Cesar Buendia, with John Pratts and Miss Princess Punzalan. Nagulat kami because it was an indie budget and then um-okey siya because it was aired in SM so I was like 'Woah!' I am blessed to be on these movies where talent is immense or talent is overflowing."

Aside from starring in an indie film, he also shared a few details about a project he's been working on.

"Actually I'm making a script right now and I read about sila Stanley Kubrick and all those directors, they didn't go to film school and they just winged it and if you fall in love with your craft [that's it]. I wanna be around film makers and productive people to make art. I love film making," the Kapuso actor said.

In the future, Kiko dreams of not only acting but also directing, "I would love to direct, I would love to be behind-the-scenes."

We're definitely excited to watch what Kiko comes up with!
