The StarStruck graduate shared on her Instagram post yesterday why she decided to have a playshoot with a couple of friends in Zambales. Kris clarified: “This isn't for any magazine cover, promotion, or endorsement. Just a playshoot with my extremely talented confidants. A random and an urgent invitation to the beach.”

“You rarely see me in a bikini. Maybe as I age I'm starting to be comfortable with how much skin a swimsuit shows. I've always been the timid one but what you should know is that I'm also straightforward. And at this moment in time, my inner freak is no longer lying dormant,” she added.

Moreover, the shoot reminded Kris about loving herself more and not to focus on her physical insecurities.

“Sometimes it's just the angle, the attitude, the swimsuit or the makeup that makes me look thin and small. People can see me. So they know how small and petite I am whether I'm in a swimsuit, or jeans and a t-shirt. This is why I visit the gym. I'm not dying to have abs instead I'm focusing more on my hips and arms. I don't always love my body, it’s not my fault that I look like this, but for some ludicrous reason, strutting about in a bikini is just fine about my not-so-perfect built. I feel good about myself and focus on the fun and not on any body insecurities I might have,” the actress shared.
