Acclaimed actress and mother-of-four Lotlot de Leon couldn't help but feel emotional as her youngest daughter Maxine turned a year older on Saturday, August 8.

On Instagram, Lotlot wrote, “I must have done something right in my life to deserve you… oh, Maxine.

“I love you anak, praying for all your dreams to come true.

“'I will look for you in every lifetime and love you there.'

"Happy birthday, my love.”

The post showed a compilation of photos of Maxine from infancy to her high school graduation photo.

Similarly, eldest sister Janine Gutierrez shared her well-wishes for the birthday girl.

The Kapuso actress posted their before-and-after pictures together as evidence of how much Maxine has grown over the years.

Janine wrote, “Happy birthday my foofie,” before referencing a quote from “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” by American novelist, F. Scott Fitzgerald.

It said, “ You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you.

“I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."

She added, “We'll be here while all your dreams come true. I love you.”

Maxine Gutierrez is the youngest daughter of Lotlot de Leon and ex-husband, Ramon Christopher. She has three older siblings namely Janine, Diego, and Jessica Gutierrez.
