Even some of the most respected directors in the industry namely Laurice Guillen, Rowell Santiago, and Bert de Leon also congratulated Bitoy for a job well-done on his first film project.

On Instagram post today, July 27, Michael V. expressed his appreciation and said that he was 'totally touched' by what they said about his movie.

“Sa lahat ng nag-post ng positive reviews, we're very, very flattered!

"I have to admit na hindi mag-a-appeal ang movie sa 'lahat' ng klase ng audience pero du'n sa mga moviegoers whom I really dedicate this project to, you totally touched my soul as well as my heart. I hope this movie did the same to you.

He also shared a trivia about the movie soundtrack in 'Family History.'

“Music is also a big part of the movie much like the soundtrack of our lives. “Ba't Gano'n?” and “Ayoko Na” are not just songs na isinaksak sa movie, they're an extension of it. If you listen to the lyrics, there are lines that were not said and the scenes that were not shot,” Michael explained.
