Rachelle Ann Go expressed how much she misses the Philippines as well as her high hopes to return to the local music scene.
Rachelle faced select members of the entertainment press and the blogging community to talk about her 'The Homecoming' concert, happening at the Marriot Grand Ballroom, Resorts World on February 14.
It was during this media conference when the International Theater Diva and West-End and Broadway Star admitted how much she longed to be back home.

“Naho-homesick, nami-miss 'yung family. 'Yun talaga 'yung number one doon. Dahil tayong mga Pinoy, nasanay talaga tayo na kasama talaga natin lumaki ang pamilya natin. So it's very hard out there, especially when you're ill, you're sick, mag-isa ka lang. 'Di ba, ang hirap talaga,” she admitted.
According to Rachelle, she plans to do more shows in the Philippines and with GMA in between her commitments with Les Miserable which will run from March to April, and July 'til the end of the year.
She said, “I hope so, that's what we're hoping. But for this year, medyo mahirap because I'm doing another show in London so mawawala rin ako. Marami rin nagtatanong kung saan ang base ko for now. Sa ngayon, London. And eto lang talaga, I have this little break, a few months break after Hamilton to go home and do some shows for the Filipinos.”
She is also hopeful to do more collaborations during her visits to the country.

She added, “Marami po akong na-miss of course dito sa Pilipinas. Family, pagkain, friends, you know except the traffic. 'Yung mga kaibigan ko, the moment I landed talagang nag-plan na po kami ng get-together and some of us are actually planning to have a concert, 'yung champions, parang reunion. Gusto ko ulit maka-collaborate si Kyla of course. Kasama ko sa GMA 'yan nang matagal tapos 'yung mga bagong singers, mga kabataan.”
Rachelle will headline her first concert since her theater stint abroad. She will be joined by no less than Lea Salonga, Erik Santos, and Zephanie at her 'The Homecoming' concert.
