Rhea Santos to her Unang Hirit co-hosts, "I miss doing the news with you."
Rhea Santos left the Philippines but her friendship with former Unang Hirit co-hosts continues.
In a post on Instagram, Rhea Santos penned a heartwarming message to Susan Enriquez and Connie Sison.
"Dear Su & Cons! You both are the first people I see in the morning while rushing to put our make-up on as we prepare to go on air," Rhea started.
"No matter if our make up's done or our hair is wet, we never lose that smile on our faces and we just know if it's going to be a good day or a slow day.
"I just love how we can read each other's mood and feel each other's presence."
Rhea then reminisce her time with Susan during their Unang Hirit days.
She said, "I definitely miss our kwentuhan, kalokohan, our big words, our pretend interviews with VIPs, our daydreaming of having coffee in some fancy place and talking like coño women, our secret phone calls, our women talks on clothes, jewellery, quality vs quantity, cheesecake, purokokok or pulpo, mga lupain mo, ang pambabara mo sa 'kin, pagpilit mo na basain ang isda sa kamias, sampalok, suka, luya, at kamatis, na masustansya ang sayo at mahal ang pistachio cheesecake."
"But most of all, I love when we talk about our plans and dreams for the family.
" I appreciate that we find comfort in silence.
“You've blossomed, Su, 'coz you chose to enjoy the fruits of your hard work and you've learned to take good care of yourself.
"You deserve it, Su, 'coz you are an amazing woman, mom & lola!"
In a separate post, Rhea reminisce her time with Connie, revealing that they used to prank each other.
"We go to work in our dressy & conservative ootds, but then, we exert effort to hop over the sink or hide behind the door, just to scare each other!" she wrote.
"I love that we have crazy ideas, silly names, common love for nail polish, and all things that sparkle, and that we can make fun ourselves."
Rhea then suggested to keep their communication open because she wants to make more memories with Susan and Connie.
"To my fellow morning news women, I hope to make more memories with you! I love you both and I miss doing the news with you," the former Unang Hirit host ended.
