The young Kapuso actress said it would be a "dream come true" for her if she was ever given this role.
Kapuso child star Sofia Pablo looked like an underwater princess when she wore a mermaid tail while in Boracay.

In an exclusive interview with Sofia, the young actress admitted that ever since she learned to swim at the age of three, it has always been her dream to be a mermaid.
"My Boracay photo shoot was very fun and it's a dream come true for me. Mula nang natuto ako mag-swimming, dream ko na maging mermaid at makapagsuot ng mermaid tail. Kaya pagkakita ko pa lang ng tail, naiiyak na ako sa tuwa lalo 'nung nasuot ko na," she said.
Sofia also shared that she wants to portray a mermaid on TV too ala-Mars Ravelo's "Dyesebel."
According to her, "If I would be given a chance to play as mermaid on TV, I would not hesitate at all and say yes agad! It would be a dream come true, working while doing my hobby which is swimming. Sobrang mahal ko ang pag-swim. Ibang level ng happiness talaga."
Due to her love for swimming, Sofia even became an ambassadress for powdered milk drink brand, Progress Pre-School Gold.
