Vicki Belo is imparting to her daughter Scarlet Snow Belo an important lesson she learned from her father.

According to Vicki, her dad has made her believe she could fly when she was still a little girl.

She said, “He'd literally make me stand on his shoulders and being 6ft. tall, I would feel so powerful standing taller than anyone else in the room. This feeling has always stayed with me even until today.”

This was also what she taught her older daughter Cristalle growing up and what she intends to teach Scarlet as well.

Vicki continued, “I raised @cristallebelo teaching her the same thing. That she had her own wings and that she could spread them out to be her most beautiful self. Today @dochayden and I are passing on this lesson of self-confidence plus Gods amazing love for us to @scarletsnowbelo. And at only 3 years old she's already showing signs of having internalised it.”

The celebrity doctor took the message to Instagram to empower other girls in today's celebration of the international day of the girl.
