Former Encantadia star Iza Calzado took to social media to share her innermost feelings about being engaged to non-showbiz boyfriend Ben Wintle.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Iza admitted that she took a social media break because her surprise engagement was a bit overwhelming.
She went on to express her profound gratitude to all the well-wishers. Iza added that she’s one lucky person to have found a man who only wants the best for her.
“It's been a week since we got engaged! I still can't get over all the effort that my fiancé (naaaks!!!) put in just to make that day memorable for me and pull off that surprise. I am so lucky and grateful to have found a man who only wants the best for me. Looking forward to a bright and wonderful future ahead of us! Just want to say thank you to our family and friends who shared that special moment with us. I haven't opened Facebook or twitter since that day because everything was a bit overwhelming for me so to those who sent their well wishes through these platforms, massive THANK YOU!!!”
