I went on a social media fast this Holy Week. It wasn't even a complete breakup cause I had few commitments. 🥰 My decision to abstain massively improved my days. I realized that the less I connect myself with technology and social media, the more I feel human. 💪🏼 I replaced the time I would be on my phone with prayer, reading Scriptures about Jesus and reflect about myself, my life. I find myself wanting to watch more sunsets, observe people, notice flowers, read good books, and have deep and real conversation with the people around me. Yes, all that, so much. And, I like me better without technology. 💋 Happy Sunday!

On Easter Sunday, she wrote, “I went on a social media fast this Holy Week. It wasn't even a complete breakup cause I had few commitments.

“My decision to abstain massively improved my days. I realized that the less I connect myself with technology and social media, the more I feel human.

Kris gave a recap of her Holy Week and how she spent it meaningfully despite minimal technology use. “I replaced the time I would be on my phone with prayer, reading Scriptures about Jesus and reflect about myself, my life.

“I find myself wanting to watch more sunsets, observe people, notice flowers, read good books, and have deep and real conversation with the people around me.”

She concluded that technology isn't necessary to keep her happy. “Yes, all that, so much. And, I like me better without technology. Happy Sunday!”
