Five years ago, Philippine showbiz lost one of its legendary personalities when the King of Comedy, Dolphy, succumbed to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He was 83.

His longtime partner Zsa Zsa Padilla took to Instagram yesterday, July 10 to commemorate his death anniversary and asked everyone to pray for him.

Zsa Zsa posted, “Today marks the 5th year of Dolphy's passing. Although he lives in our hearts and minds, he is greatly missed. Please say a little prayer for him... O Lord, the God of mercies, grant unto the souls of Thy servants the anniversary day of whose burial we are keeping, a place of solace, of peaceful rest, of glorious light. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.”

Dolphy has two kids with Zsa Zsa named Nicole and Zia Quizon.
