The Queen of All Media Kris Aquino answered a question posted by a netizen if her relationship with former Senator Jinggoy Estrada was affected since the younger Estrada was detained during the term of her brother former President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III.

Netizen @superkasmot asked the celebrity TV host when she shared an Instagram photo of a bouquet of flowers yesterday, June 21.

Kris replied and clarified that she is in good terms with the family of Senator Jinggoy.

She explained, “@superkasmot I have remained in good terms w/ my Pare, his wife Mareng Precy & Vice Jel. Just a correction - hindi si Noy ang nagpakulong kay Senator Jinggoy, OMBUDSMAN po ang tinutukoy mo.”

On June 6, 2014, the Ombudsman filed before the Sandiganbayan plunder charges against Senator Jinggoy Estrada and two other senators in connection with the multibillion-peso pork barrel fund scam involving Janet Lim Napoles.

By June 23, the Sandiganbayan Fifth Division issued a warrant for arrest against Jinggoy. On the same day, the senator turned himself in at the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame.
