Try this delightful and popular Filipino dessert.


 

 

Ingredients:

For custard filling:

1 cup CDO Kaong (combination of green, red and white)
1 cup CDO Nata de Coco (combination of green, red, and white)
1 cup Danes Classic Cheese
2 1/2 tbsp sugar
5 tbsp cornstarch
1 1/2 cup condensed milk
1 cup water
2 pcs egg yolk (beaten)

For pie crust:
12 pcs graham crust

Procedure:
1. In a saucepan, mix together sugar, cornstarch, cream, and milk until dissolved.
2. Turn on the heat and whisk until mixture thickens and coats back of the spoon. Turn off the heat and whisk in egg yolks and beat until smooth and combined.
3. To assemble: In a glass container, layer graham cracker and spread the custard mixture. Scatter CDO Kaong, CDO Nata de Coco, and Danes Classic Cheese. Repeat steps until it fills the container.
4. Top with remaining CDO Kaong and CDO Nata de Coco. Set aside.
5. In a small saucepan, dilute gelatin mix with water and coil for a minute. Cool and pour on top of the layered dessert. Cover with cling wrap and chill for 4 hours to over night.
